Pedro Favela Caldera Obituary

Pedro Favela Caldera, a beacon of love and selflessness, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2024, in Corpus Christi, Texas. Born on February 14, 1973, in Matamoros, Mexico, to Francis and Pedro Caldera, his gentle spirit and kind-hearted nature were evident from an early age.

Pedro's life was a testament to the power of love and dedication. He was a devoted husband to his wife Denise, with whom he shared thirty years of cherished memories. Together, they raised three wonderful daughters, Andrea, Alejandra, and Ariana, who were the center of his world. Pedro's love for his family was boundless, and he took immense joy in supporting and celebrating each moment with them.

His family was the cornerstone of his life, and Pedro will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Francis and Pedro; his mother-in-law, Rosa; his siblings, Mireya and Edward (Jamina); his brothers-in-law, Ramiro (So-Young) and Manuel (Deborah); his sister-in-law, Brenda; as well as his adored eight nieces and nine nephews. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Ramiro, a man he held in great esteem.

Pedro's interests were as warm and inviting as his personality. An avid runner, he found joy in the simplicity of the open road and the rhythm of his footsteps. Barbecuing for family gatherings was not just a hobby but an expression of his love, as he took pleasure in feeding and bringing smiles to the faces of those he held dear. A fan of sports and National Geographic, he was also a constant presence in the stands, cheering on his daughters during their volleyball games. Most of all, Pedro cherished the quality time spent with his wife and daughters, which he considered his life's greatest treasure.

Pedro's legacy is not just in the lives he touched but in the example he set. His unwavering commitment to his family, his kindness to friends and strangers alike, and his passion for life's simple pleasures are lessons that will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.

As we bid farewell to Pedro Favela Caldera, we do so with gratitude for the time we were granted with him and the memories we will forever hold dear. His spirit, characterized by love and gentle kindness, will continue to inspire and guide us. Though he may have left this earthly realm, his presence will be felt in every loving embrace, every shared meal, and every quiet moment spent in the company of family. Rest in peace, dear Pedro, until we meet again.
