Marta was preceded in death by her parents, Joaquin Nolasco and Emma Velasquez. Marta is survived by her husband, Hector Gutierrez; her children, Jennett (Stephanie) Gutierrez, Alexis (Angel) Gutierrez, Chris Gutierrez, and Blondy Gutierrez; and her grandchildren, Krisay Gutierrez, Samara Gutierrez, Chris Gutierrez Jr., Aiden Gutierrez, Aurora Gutierrez, Ariel Gutierrez, Alyna Gutierrez, and Kami Gutierrez. Cooking was Marta's passion, a skill and art form she wielded with flair. Her kitchen was the heart of the home, a place where aromas and laughter mingled, creating an atmosphere of warmth and welcome. Her dishes were more than meals; they were expressions of her love and a way to gather her family together. Marta's love for her family was rivalled only by her enjoyment of novellas, which she watched with an enthusiasm that was contagious.
